In this session, participants will see real-world examples of several Principles for Digital Development, including understanding the existing ecosystem, using open systems and reusing and improving upon what's available. In Tanzania, a recent connect-a-thon illustrates interoperability several ways: Village elders registering births over SMS, nurses providing immunization data to facilities which, in turn, manage vaccine inventories.
