Blockchain, the underlying technology that drives Bitcoin, offers a new way of transferring assets more securely and transparently. Blockchain has many potential use cases in the humanitarian sector, where trust and transparency are fundamental to everything we do. In this session, participants will learn how Blockchain works; how NGOs can leverage it to streamline legacy processes and create greater transparency; and about its applications in our sector, including digital identity, cash transfer, land registry, micro insurance and more.
