Birds of a Feather Dinner: The Future of GIS Mapping
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

Maps are cool -- let's chat about them.  What are we doing with maps?  What would we like to be doing with them?  Are there areas where they're more of a distraction than a useful tool?  How will they be used in the newest areas of industry innovation -- IoT, resilience, SDG data, etc?

Location:  The Barrelhouse, 22 5th St. N.W., Atlanta, GA  30308 (just a block from Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center).  Reservations for November 7 at 8pm under Martha Staid.

Enabling Collaboration: what's in your stack?
Limited Capacity filling up

Oxfam has been on a multi-application journey in our ambition to support collaboration across our 18 member organizations. Our stack includes Okta for authentication and directory support, Box.com for file sharing, Workplace by Facebook for enterprise networking and a Drupal site to join it all together and integrate with more traditional intranet Communities of Interest & Practice. support. Plus we're rolling out Office 365 too! We would be happy to share our journey so far and we are interested in learning what others are doing.

What? So What? Now What? (Joining the data-dots to support program management & delivery & decision-making)
Limited Capacity filling up

It would be great to have the participants of the NGO Reference Model session (http://sched.co/8Og6) converge to have a deeper dive into the specific area of systems to support program management and delivery. As we all gather more data related to programmatic outputs, outcomes and impact, and as we try to align ourselves with global transparency initiatives (such as IATI) we need to improve the coherence and relationships between these new data and the fundraising systems and financial management data-sets in which we have traditionally invested. I have no magic bullet to offer, but I would be happy to talk about how Oxfam is wrestling with this, and would love to hear how others are approaching it too.
