Harry Plant joined Aeris in 2014 as Vice President, Social Impact. His job is to reach out to social entrepreneurs, large INGOs, and other non-profits that can benefit from IoT solutions and then figure out how to make those solutions available. In that role, he leads Aeris’s effort to developing partnerships with social impact companies and help make available to them the tools to communicate and analyze data that will enable them to improve the lives of those most in need globally and to foster better utilization of our planet’s scarce resources. Before joining Aeris, Harry spent 25 years in Silicon Valley, working with technology companies as a lawyer and an investment banker. He was a partner for ten years at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Silicon Valley’s premiere law firm, advising a wide range of growth companies. He then worked as an investment banker at Montgomery Securities and UBS Securities, leading mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. Harry has degrees in economics from Northwestern University and the London School of Economics and a law degree from Stanford Law School.
